Unleashed 2017

Unleashed 2017 is Macland Baptist Church's Disciple NOW weekend. DNOW is a Jesus-focused, annual student retreat that is filled with fun, fellowship, service, and growth. Our objective is simple: help Students grow in their love of God and help them grow deeper in community.

This year's event is going to be incredible! In addition to our Disciple NOW we will also be hosting and participating in the Angels for Adyson 5K race. As part of the 5K there will also be a 1K Fun Walk for those who do not want to run, and opportunities to serve for those who cannot do either. For those who desire to run or walk to support Adyson, your admission to the race is included in your DNOW registration, and you will be able to purchase a Race shirt for $15. You can also donate at the event if you wish to further support this family. All proceeds from the race itself will go directly to the Harrah family to benefit Adyson.

FAQs

Once my student checks in are they allowed to leave the event?

No. Once checked in by our Volunteer Staff, all students are required to remain on property unless checked out in person by a parent or guardian. This protects the student and the integrity of the event, and ensures that we have accountability of all of our guests.

Is there a minimum age requirement to participate?

Unleashed 2017 is only for students in 6th-12th grade. All students will be required to check in upon arrival and should bring their ticket with them for check-in purposes. Any student not registered prior to the day of the event will be required to have a parent or guardian present with photo ID to register them and check them in.

What do I bring into the event?

Unleashed 2017 is an all-inclusive event less any extra merchandise students desire to purchase. This means that all meals, snacks and drinks will be provided at the event. Students can bring extra money if desire. All students must bring their ticket along with an air mattress or sleeping bag, pillow, a bag for clothes, towel, tennis shoes for activities, toiletries, etc. Students should also bring a Bible and something to write with. Students SHOULD NOT bring valuables with them of any kind to the event, including laptops, portable dvd players, expensive jewelry, etc as Macland Baptist Church and/or any of its leadership or event volunteers ARE NOT responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.
